Weekly Presidents Update

Club News you can use….Weekly updates

Welcome back (again!) after our recent  Covid19 lockdown. Thank you to all students and pilots who had flights canceled and bookings changed around for your patience and understanding. With both, our Slings back in operation now is the time for all our members to get back in the air or drop in for a social chat and catch up.
Ray Brown will be back behind the bar this afternoon and many of our friends from the airport will be here so come on down and say Hi  🖐!.

Web site:
We are looking forward to an updated website from this weekend/early next week. We have found it necessary to make some modest price adjustments as these have not changed in the last two years.

AGM: It’s nearly that time of the year again.  The proposed date will be the 30th October 2021, this will be confirmed at the next board meeting which is to take place on the 9th of September. The date will be confirmed in the 10 September newsletter.

For those of you who were interested in the Maryborough  Fraser Coast Wheels and Wings event to be held on 14th August please be advised that this has now, unfortunately, had to be canceled.

Spot the whale! 🐳
Quentin was lucky enough in a recent Hands-on Action Flight to spot a couple of Whales a week or so ago.  You may have to squint but they are out there!

Sunshine Coast Airport turned 60 years young yesterday. ! A couple of photos courtesy of the Airport.

Looking forward to seeing you all this afternoon.
Warren Schulz
SCAC President.
