Christmas Party Wrap 🎄🎁 Thank you to all who attended and helped out with the Setup and Pack up of last Fridays Club Christmas Party. It was great to see so many old and new faces. 52 tickets were sold. The Bertino Brothers and Santa did an amazing job with the food and pressies for the kids, large and small!, and was enjoyed by all. Thank You David for your work at the bar all night.

We’d like to congratulate Jet Constable, an active member of the SEA EAGLES on his recent excellent command decision-making, and airmanship. Upon return from a solo Nav, unforecast winds exceeding personal minima prevented Jet from landing safely back at Sunshine Coast. Following a second go around, Jet made the decision to divert to Caloundra where winds were more favorable with cross runways available. The decision resulted in a safe landing, despite being an unfamiliar airport, far better to go somewhere else than risk damaging the aeroplane. Special thanks to Mark Crinnion for ferrying me to Caloundra to collect the plane.
Good job Jet! 👏 Special thank you for this week to Craig who always goes above and beyond, taking his Club membership to new heights with his polishing up and washing of the Sling aircraft. Craig spends hours on the aircraft and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
Thanks again, Craig. Naomi and Mike were also out there this week with their bucket and sponges.
