TRY AND FLY SUCESS!!

20 Flights and the best weather on the Sunshine Coast ALL DAY!.

Thank you to our amazing instructors Josh and Quentin who did a fantastic job in the air. Our ground crew Mike and Trevor were here for the long hall helping it all run smoothly on the ground, and taking the time to talk with the 20 potential new students.

We had David Cooper on the BBQ and we managed to get Horizon Kings Dad from Life Flight (a vegetarian helicopter pilot!) to cook a few snags!

At this stage we have two new students to welcome from the Try and Fly Day. Jett Jensen and Jackson Hall.

Plane Spotter Hadley checking out Jetstars new A321 Neo.

Following on from my email and Facebook post earlier in the week i have a 2pm demo flight spot still available if anyone is interested. Wednesday 08th February. All welcome to come down during the day and take a look.

YCAB Gliding Club/SCAC Gliding Day. Saturday 11th March 2023.

Caboolture Gliding Club/Sunshine Coast Aero Club Gliding Day.

SATURDAY 11th MARCH 2023

As Quentin mentioned earlier in the week on face book , it is his belief that Gliding should be a part of our syllabus, so we have arranged a Gliding day to take place on March the 11th. Come and take advantage of this group opportunity.

We have 15 spaces available. We have arranged with Ollie a 12 seater mini bus and can fly in the 2x Slings as a mini Nav or CTAF lesson for the 2 students flying in.

Caboolture Gliding Club will run the session for us which is outside of their normal flying days.

Catering and a terry towelling bucket hat will be included in the cost of $230.00 per person.

Costing is inclusive of the flight 20-40 minutes approximately, and the Gliding federation of Australia Membership.

The Maximum practical weight mass is 105kg. (March will give those who need to trim down plenty of time!!!)

✈BOOK HERE:

Trevor and James enjoying the end of the week by having a flight to Noosa and surrounds

Note the new signage airside on the hangar doors. Thank you Trevor for arranging and for all the painting and sprucing up of the BBQ area. Big changes on the way for our enjoyment.

A shout out to Sean Peek for helping Trev on a 30 degree + day to paint. Great to see Sean is back up in the air with Quentin after starting flying many years ago.

And note the TV in the Admin entrance. Club achievements and Terminal information displayed 24/7. Great job Trevor and Lenroy.

Next Sea Eagles meeting will be next Thursday 2nd February from 5pm.

Social Friday This Afternoon. The bar will be open from 4.30 pm.
