Thank you to everyone this week who has had to re schedule their lessons and private hire due to both aircraft taking longer than anticipated in maintenance.

Sling 8667

Unfortunately a longeron, the only longeron that connects the tail to the centre section of the aircraft at full length has been snapped in half by an unreported tail strike in the last 100hrs.

A meeting will be scheduled with every pilot thats flown 8667 since the last 100hrly.

Should be back shortly after a 100 hrly and full gearbox inspection

We are looking at early next week fingers crossed to have them back…i will keep you posted.

BONZA to Proserpine Last Thursday

A wonderful experience on board BONZAS “Shazza” last Thursday with 35 students and members of the Sea Eagles. We were fortunate to be taken to Proserpine and back on a very comfortable, quiet and smooth flight. The crew on the ground and in the air were fantastic and extremely helpful. The night lighting was very calming. they had plenty of leg room and the seats were comfortable.

Christopher Hills, one of our Sea Eagles members required some special assistance and this was no problem for the Bonza team. Some of our other members hadn’t quite mastered the check in on the Bonza App , however this was also not a problem for the ground team.

THANK YOU BONZA….We were all impressed and look forward to supporting our own local airline here on the Sunshine Coast.
